Trick or Treat
Golf dad dresses kids up as Scottie Scheffler and arresting officer, becomes instant Halloween hero
Halloween is just a few weeks away, and if you’re still looking for the perfect golf-themed costume for you and your spouse/buddy/caddie/kids, the search stops here. This is option 1A through 1Z. It’s a slam dunk, home run and hole in one all rolled into a single Kit Kat-deleting monster. The only question is who draws the Scottie Scheffler straw and who gets the dubious honor of dressing up as Louisville police officer Bryan Gillis. Best of luck hashing that out, America, but if these kids can handle it, so can you.

Pretty darn cute if you ask us. As you can see, the costume works just as well for pint-sized putters as it does for adults. You do run the risk of being just another drop in the orange-prison-jumpsuit ocean down at your local C.C., but it sure beats the tired Brooks n’ Brooksy routine you’ve been trotting out the last couple of years.
Before you suit up and hit the bricks in search of candy Valhalla (ahem), just make sure tip your officer’s cap to Caddie Uniform who got out ahead of the trend and blazed the trail for the rest of us. As the old saying goes, not all heroes wear capes handcuffs.
