hot diggity dog!
Put some mustard on your July 4th golf game with these limited-edition Callaway Hot Dog golf balls
Maddie Meyer/PGA of America
The Callaway Chrome Tour golf ball has a perfect five-star rating on Golf Digest’s Hot List. They’re specifically made for a soft feel and driver distance, have a more penetrating flight and are excellent when it comes to your short game. That’s nice and all, but there’s one thing wrong with these quote, unquote flawless golf balls … they don’t have little pictures of hot dogs on them.
Now, Callaway heard this never-ending complaint and decided to right this wrong, just in time for the July 4th holiday weekend. Not only are there frankfurters but also adorable little sketches of ketchup, mustard, onions and relish. July is (as we all know) National Hot Dog Month, and Callaway didn’t come to play for the special occasion.
“A hot dog at the turn can make all the difference 🌭,” writes Callaway’s crackerjack social-media team. “Our limited edition Chrome Tour Hot Dog balls come with 4 different sleeves in each dozen.”

Hot dogs are as important to golf as stress-relieving breathing exercises are ... to golf. What would happen to the game we love if you can't devour a frank on the turn? Honestly, it's too scary to even think about. Luckily, Callaway is there for us when it matters most.
$54.99 for the best purchase of your life? That sounds like the deal of a lifetime. Just make sure your game is able to handle these golf balls. You don’t want to lose them all by the time we hit August. If you still have one by July 2025, you’re a stronger golfer than all of us.
