For a country notorious for mastering the art of style, France has won a surprisingly few number of majors: only one, in fact, over a century ago, with Arnaud Massy’s 1907 victory at the Open Championship. He did so with sartorial finesse, donning classic trousers, overcoat, tie, and signature flat cap. Despite the brash statistics, this doesn’t mean the country hasn’t dominated in at least one golf category: style. In celebration of the global spotlight on Paris in light of the Olympics, especially if you, like this writer, are dreaming of munching on a buttery pain au chocolat dipped in red wine and watching golf in person, here are some of our favorite Parisian chic looks to add a splash of je ne sais quoi on and off the course.
