Why We Like It
These irons were built for speed. A proprietary heat-treating process makes the variable-thickness 17-4 stainless-steel face super strong, allowing it to be thinned significantly, resulting in more face bend for greater distance and added height. The lofts are quite strong but when combined with a low center of gravity and additional perimeter weighting bring about noticeable ball-speed gains. The 10-piece cavity badge has multiple flex zones that help generate a higher launch with steeper landing angles to hold the green. Call this one the 12-handicappers secret weapon.

Reviews
Cavity back is well-hidden. The thicker topline implies forgiveness and inspires confidence at address. Off-center hits are felt but stay on line and don’t compromise distance.
Jamie, 51, Handicap: 5Inviting shape. I like that it shallows from toe to heel. The technology in the back gives me confidence and lets me know I'll hit it farther. Straighter shot pattern.
Sang, 63, Handicap: 9I like the indent. Nice auditory feedback. Heavier clubhead that drives through the turf and delivers a lot of power. You can feel shots pop off the face.
Conor, 30, Handicap: 7Why Impact Is Critical to Your Iron Play
Consistent shot shape requires one skill above all others: the ability to make flush contact with the ball. It’s the No. 1 fundamental in golf, and without it, this game can be an eternal mystery. Here, Sean Hogan, one of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Florida, helps you improve your impact from tee to green.
