Excitement levels for the 2024 Presidents Cup are … well, let’s say modest. It could end up being a classic (it’s possible!), but the historically one-sided nature of the event and the absence of LIV Golf stars have dampened expectations in Montreal. While the competitive outlook might be lukewarm, however, things are nice and toasty in the merch tent, which appears to house one of the biggest (and best) swag collections in golf. Feast your eyes and starve your wallets.
Hoodies, hockey sweaters and retro rope hats, oh my! Clearly the Presidents Cup organizers are steering into the Canadian setting with a glut of fall essentials, including a couple of killer crewnecks and plenty of pucks-themed picks. Unfortunately the dreaded "INT" hats have reared their ugly heads, but it's more hits than misses.
The hockey sweaters are also pretty niche, especially for what they’re going to cost, but you’d wear this hoodie. You can’t tell us you wouldn’t.
Needless to say, if you know someone headed to Royal Montreal this week, ask them to pick something up for you. Just don’t be surprised if it comes back smelling like spilled Labatt.
