Why We Like It
Forget for a minute that this iron almost looks like a muscle-back blade. It plays anything but. The compact head shape has a slightly larger profile for enhanced stability and mis-hit forgiveness. PXG also has taken what it has learned over the years from previous hollow-body designs and brought it to an iron targeted to elite players. However, instead of using the hollow area and the polymer that fills it to enhance distance, polymer is used to stabilize the face. That improves distance and spin consistency, which is what you want when you’re pin-hunting.

Reviews
This iron blends the look of a classic players iron with the forgiveness of a game-improvement iron. Lower flying ball flight with a lot of control.
BK, 41, Handicap: 1These irons are fun to hit. They feel well-balanced and stable through impact and fall on the more workable side of the spectrum. Expect to leave short irons close.
Conor, 30, Handicap: 7Nice concept and good design. Presents like a players iron with more tech behind it. Little to no curvature on mis-hits. Off-center strikes may fly shorter but will be straight.
Wesley, 29, Handicap: +1Why Impact Is Critical to Your Iron Play
