Why We Like It
The most compact of the three clubheads, the LS is designed for better players who like to work the ball and desire less spin. Noticeably sleeker is the sliding-weight track on the sole, which is positioned more forward and lower this year for increased effectiveness on trajectory and spin. It also weighs nearly six grams less. This weight savings along with the savings from the carbon face and body construction can be repositioned in the form of 19 grams in the rear perimeter for extra stability.
Characteristics
- The lowest spinning of the three models also has the lowest and most forward center of gravity.
- The sliding-weight track houses a 19-gram weight to tweak fades and draws.
- The aerodynamic sole still accommodates a 19-gram rear weight for better off-center-hit performance.
- 8, 9, 10.5 degrees (with a 12-way adjustable hosel)

HOT LIST PLAYERS FEEDBACK

Reviews
Explosive off of the clubface despite a subtle sound. The flight is piercing and not hard to control.
Daniel, 32, Handicap: 12The feel at impact is soft, but the ball comes off the face hot. The trim line on the top helps you get the face in the right spot at address.
Jason, 47, Handicap: 0On center strikes, the ball really pops with great feel. On good shots and mis-hits, I had a mid-to-high ball flight with lower spin.
RC, 62, Handicap: 7Max-out Your Speed and Carry Distance with The Driver
Whether you want more distance or a consistent shot shape, you need one skill above all others: the ability to make flush contact with the ball. It’s the No. 1 fundamental in golf, and without it, this game can be an eternal mystery. Here, Sean Hogan, one of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Florida, helps you improve your impact with the driver.
From the manufacturer
TaylorMade Qi10 LS
Qi10 LS features a deep face and more compact head shape while delivering a lower spin and lower launch that is engineered to optimize performance for fast swing speed players.
A new, more efficient 18g steel sliding weight is housed by an innovative track system that allows adjustable weight to move farther forward and lower, resulting in a more forgiving low-spin experience.
By extending carbon fiber to the extreme perimeter of the head and aligning it flush with the top of the face, the new Infinity Crown design maximizes mass savings. This removes excess weight in less advantageous positions, resulting in optimal mass redistribution for lower CG and better spin properties.
